Increasing the impact of social change activists.

I translate complex ideas and research into actionable implementation plans.

I am the bridge between funding and measurably effective programs.

Today’s problems are large, complex, and urgent. The competition to change is deeply entrenched and well-funded. Positive change requires a new approach - integrating what works in both the corporate and social change fields to create a new paradigm for change focused on strategic, intentional, measurable action.

We live in an era of misinformation, where research, data, and facts are overwhelmed by opinion and misinformation. Research languishes in journals or conferences rather than being integrated consistently into policies and programs. It’s time to take back the narrative and translate research for a broader audience.

Rebecca Wear Robinson | Social Change Consultant and Coach

who benefits from a new approach?

Activists who want to make a measurable, lasting impact.

Social entrepreneurs who are laser-focused on success.

Philanthropists who want to know their money is making a measurable difference.

Nonprofits and government agencies who are committed to programs that are cost-effective and have a meaningful impact.

How I Help Social Changemakers

I understand change from an organizational perspective.

I began my career in corporate consulting, earning a BA in Finance from the University of Illinois and an MBA in Marketing, Economics, and International Management from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University during the boom-boom Wall Street years. I understand how the corporate world works, as potential partners to change, and as competition to change. I’ve started and operated S-corps, LLCs, and a 501(c)(3). Through hands-on experience, I know the opportunities and the limitations faced by organizations.

I understand change from a people perspective.

In 2007, I shifted my focus to the global epidemic of drowning. I successfully integrated my business knowledge with the behavioral change theory learned in my Master’s in Organizational and Social Psychology from the London School of Economics. I worked with individuals and organizations around the world to translate their ideas into reality and successfully market behavior change within their target populations, culminating in being a member of the Water Safety Task Force Metro Chicago and on the Steering Committee creating the first U.S. National Water Safety Action Plan.

I’ve got all the ivory tower credentials.  The impressive degrees. Over a decade of big-and small-company consulting experience.  Serial entrepreneur - success and failure.  I took on one of the most overlooked global epidemics, dove into intensive research, built the broadest global network in the field, and gained a reputation as an influencer, change-maker, and expert in Social Change Marketing. (Social Change Marketing is not social media marketing. Social media marketing sells stuff on the internet. Social Change Marketing harnesses the power of marketing and social psychology to change attitudes and behaviors so that we can change the world.)

But I don’t live in the ivory tower.  I live in the real world where people matter and problems are complex.

I believe that change comes from pragmatic problem-solving backed up with realistic and detailed action plans, data, budgets, and deadlines.  I believe in targeted, strategic, effective action.

WHAT I DO

Consulting

I solve your big problems, the problems that are holding you back from changing the world.  I dig deep, work to understand your strengths and the barriers to change, and create a realistic action plan.  I get results.

Coaching

Empowerment is good, but a plan for for positive and effective action is even better.  I identify the unique skill set in each person, help them put the puzzle pieces together, and develop a plan to adapt to changing situations.

Speaking

I’m a Social Change Marketing expert. I use a road-tested blend of Social Psychology, Marketing, and Business disciplines to create jet fuel for social change.  I teach organizations how to unleash their full power.

The only thing that is constant is change.
